Artiform’s ‘Spatial Dialogues’ makes art buying personal, one wall at a time
Mumbai: “What if you could envision a painting on your wall before even deciding to bring it home?” At The Collectors Room by Artiform design studio, that idea is driving a new approach to collecting art.
The studio launched its debut exhibition, Spatial Dialogues, which envisions the space where art, design and community intersect. The show brings together four artists from Cholomandel Artists Village — Bhagwan Chavan, Dilipkumar Kesavan, Jacob Jebaraj and Pravin Kannanur — to showcase abstract works meant for everyday living spaces.
Instead of treating art as gallery-only, Spatial Dialogues positions it as part of daily life. The exhibition focuses on how contemporary artworks can integrate with interiors, helping collectors imagine how pieces will interact with their own homes before they buy.
By featuring Cholomandel artists, Artiform also highlights a community known for its modernist legacy, creating a dialogue between India’s art history and current design sensibilities.
