Documentary on Ajith Kumar’s racing team announced; First look released
Chennai: The first look of Gladiators, a documentary on Tamil actor Ajith Kumar’s racing team, was unveiled on social media on August 3, 2026.
The film attempts to portray Ajith’s “relentless pursuit” of his passion for motorsports. It is directed by Vijay, known for Deiva Thirumagal (2011) and Madrasapattinam (2010). Gladiators is produced by Shalini Ajith Kumar under Golden Trophy Film Production. Music for the documentary has been composed by G V Prakash Kumar.
The announcement comes shortly after the reveal of Ajith’s upcoming feature film with director Adhik Ravichandran, titled Dare Devil.
Ajith Kumar, a longtime motorsports enthusiast, has competed professionally in Formula races and endurance events over the years. The documentary is expected to focus on his journey and the workings of his racing team.
