Berlin product designer reimagines classic Indian cinema through sketches

Berlin: By day Abhishek Chaudhary works as a product designer in Berlin, but evenings find him sketching everything from beard-trimming tools to autumn in the city.

Lately his personal project reinterpreting classic Indian cinema has taken over his drawing board and drawn attention online.

“A lot of my visual language comes from the things I have been drawn to since I was young. I have a deep interest in comic books, Urdu and Hindi poetry, art history and Bollywood film posters. I think all these influences somehow find their way into my work, sometimes very consciously and sometimes without me realising it,” Abhishek says.
