Suriya’s next titled ‘Scene’ with ‘Aavesham’ director Jithu Madhavan

Tamil superstar Suriya’s next film is Scene, directed by Malayalam filmmaker Jithu Madhavan, best known for Aavesham.

The makers announced the title on Wednesday with a teaser, confirming a theatrical release on November 6 for Deepavali. The film is also produced by Suriya.

The teaser introduces Suriya as DSP Inbaraj, a fear-inducing cop. “In the name of talent, you guys keep burying his nasty side,” a voice says as Inbaraj arrives in his jeep. Glimpses show how he runs his jail.”For you, I might be the only cop who managed to arrest you. But for me, you are just one of the thousands of scum I have locked up in prison,” he says.

In a surprise reveal, Suriya is also seen in a young, dashing look exiting in the rain.

Also starring Nazriya Nazim, Naslen, John Vijay and Anandraj in pivotal roles, Scene is set to be a Deepavali release.
