Mumbai: Škoda Auto India is targeting 8-10% growth in sales this year, which would take the automaker to its highest-ever sales volume, despite facing a high base following last year’s GST-led demand surge.
The company also plans to launch its first electric vehicle in India next year. Speaking on the market outlook, Ashish Gupta, Brand Director, Škoda Auto India, said the growth target is backed by strong market momentum.
The projection comes even as the industry navigates a high base created by last year’s demand surge after GST changes, indicating sustained confidence in domestic demand.
