Samsung launches Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, Z Fold 8 and Z Flip 8 in India

New Delhi: Samsung on Wednesday, July 22, 2026 unveiled the eighth generation of its foldable smartphones in India, introducing the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold 8, and Galaxy Z Flip 8.

For the first time, Samsung has added an Ultra variant to its foldable lineup. The company also launched the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 and Watch 9 alongside the phones.

The new Galaxy Z8 series runs One UI 9 based on Android 17 out of the box. Samsung said it will provide 7 years of OS updates and 7 years of security updates for the devices, matching its commitment to long-term software support.

With the Ultra model joining the foldable portfolio, Samsung is pushing for more premium features and durability in the segment as foldables enter their eighth generation.
