Gradiant bags five new contracts in India, plans to hike workforce by over 40%

New Delhi: Water technology company Gradiant is expanding its India operations with five new design-and-build contracts across the semiconductor, printed circuit board (PCB) and solar manufacturing sectors, while planning to increase its India workforce by more than 40% this year.

The Woburn, Massachusetts-based company, which designs, builds and operates water treatment systems for industries including semiconductors, data centres, energy and other industrial sectors, said orders in India were on track to more than double this year, while revenue was expected to more than triple.

The five new contracts come from clients in high-tech manufacturing, where demand for advanced water treatment and ultra-pure water systems is rising as India scales up domestic semiconductor and solar production.
