IPO-bound Aragen Life Sciences starts operations at high-potency facility in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: IPO-bound contract research, development and manufacturing organisation (CRDMO) Aragen Life Sciences has begun operations at Aragen OneHP, a high-potency development and manufacturing platform at its Nacharam campus in Hyderabad.

Aragen OneHP spans around 15,000 sq ft and operates one manufacturing line with a designed capacity of 500-600 kg of active pharmaceutical ingredient per year.

It can support highly potent compounds, including cytotoxic molecules and targeted oncology therapies, the company said on Wednesday.

The facility will also lay the foundation for future expansion into advanced modalities such as antibody-drug conjugates and peptide-drug conjugates.

The launch comes as the CRDMO prepares for its initial public offering.
