Sony drops new ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ trailer, shows Tom Holland’s solo Peter Parker
Los Angeles: Sony Pictures has released a new trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day, offering the most detailed look yet at Tom Holland’s return as Peter Parker following the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, the upcoming superhero film picks up four years after Peter erased himself from the memories of everyone he loved to save the multiverse. With no one remembering his identity, Peter now lives a solitary life in New York. He dedicates himself entirely to protecting the city as Spider-Man.
The trailer highlights this reset for Peter Parker. Stripped of his personal connections, the film explores a lonelier, more grounded version of the hero as he navigates life and duty in New York City.
Brand New Day marks Holland’s first solo Spider-Man outing since the multiverse-shattering finale of No Way Home and sets up a new chapter for the character in the MCU.
