Saiju Kurup’s ‘Bharathanatyam’ trilogy confirmed with ‘Rasaleela’ title

Kochi: The third film in the Bharathanatyam franchise, titled Bharathanatyam 3: Rasaleela, was announced on Sunday, June 28, at the success meet of Bharathanatyam 2: Mohiniyattam in Kochi.

The film will once again be helmed by co-writer and director Krishnadas Murali, with Saiju Kurup returning in the lead role.

The project is produced by Lini Mariam David and Anupama Nambiar under the banners of Thomas Thiruvalla Films and Saiju Kurup Entertainments.

Bharathanatyam 3: Rasaleela is slated to release in 2028.The announcement follows the success of the franchise’s second instalment, the dark-comedy Bharathanatyam 2: Mohiniyattam.
