Ranga Shankara’s AHA! Children’s Theatre Festival back with global lineup

Bengaluru’s Ranga Shankara has launched the 16th edition of AHA! International Theatre Festival for Children.

The festival brings international children’s theatre to the city, with performances by Giant’s Table (South Korea), Chifumi (Switzerland), Sortilegio (Argentina), Jonathan & The Blue Table (France), and Moon’s Magic & Sapling (India).

Arundhati Nag, founder of Ranga Shankara, said the festival is built on the belief that children absorb everything from a young age. “We are doing our bit to bring up a generation of children who are sentient, caring and empathetic,” she said.

AHA! has grown into a key platform for global children’s theatre in India, offering kids exposure to different languages, puppetry, music and storytelling traditions.

The annual event typically includes school shows, public performances and workshops, making theatre accessible to young audiences in Bengaluru.
