ChatGPT users can now lock chats as OpenAI rolls out new privacy feature
San Francisco: OpenAI is rolling out a way for users to lock their chats with ChatGPT, to help maintain privacy on shared screens or devices.
The new ‘Locked chats’ feature lets users keep selected conversations in their account, but out of their regular history, pinned chats, and standard conversation searches.
OpenAI said that locked chats are available on ChatGPT Free, Go, Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise, and Edu offerings.
The feature is aimed at users who share devices or screens and want to keep certain conversations private while retaining them in their account.
