Anant Raj board approves demerger of Data Centre & Cloud Business into separate listed firm
Mumbai: The board of Anant Raj Ltd (ARL) on Tuesday approved a plan to demerge its Data Centre and Cloud Services business into a separate listed entity, creating two focused companies from the real estate and infrastructure developer.
Under the Composite Scheme of Arrangement, Anant Raj will first consolidate all its data centre and cloud operations into a single entity. The business will then be carved out into Ashok Cloud Pvt. Ltd, a dedicated digital infrastructure and cloud services company that will be independently listed.
The move is aimed at unlocking value and giving sharper focus to both verticals. ARL will continue with its core real estate and infrastructure business, while Ashok Cloud will operate as a pure-play digital infrastructure firm.
The board approved the proposal on July 21, 2026. The demerger will now move to regulatory and shareholder approvals before the new company is listed.
