Makers release trailer of Nagathihalli Chandrashekhar’s ‘America America 2’

Bengaluru: The makers of America America 2 have released a trailer for the movie. Veteran filmmaker Nagathihalli Chandrashekhar has directed the movie.

The Kannada relationship drama stars Shanvi Srivastava, Nirup Bhandari, and Pruthvi Ambaar.

The film is only a spiritual sequel to Nagathihalli’s classic, America America. The 1997 blockbuster, starring Ramesh Aravind, Akshay Anand and Hema Prabhath, was the first Kannada movie to be released in the US.

Apart from an intense love triangle, the movie also showcased Indians’ pursuit of the American Dream at the cost of emotional isolation.
