Nimisha Sajayan, Barun Sobti team up for Prime Video thriller ‘Babita Singh Reporting’

Mumbai: Actors Nimisha Sajayan and Barun Sobti will headline Prime Video’s upcoming investigative thriller Babita Singh Reporting, the streamer announced on Monday.

The film is set to premiere exclusively on Prime Video on August 28, 2026. Directed by Ambiecka Pandit and written by Amita Vyas, the thriller follows a high-stakes investigation led by journalist Babita Singh. Anshumaan Pushkar also features in a pivotal role.

The project is executive produced by Sudip Sharma, known for his work on acclaimed crime-thrillers Paatal Lok and Kohrra. With Babita Singh Reporting, Prime Video adds another original thriller to its slate, focusing on journalism, crime and systemic corruption.
