Ashok Selvan, Preity Mukhundhan to star in action-romance ‘Anbil Avan’; Title teaser out

Chennai: Tamil actors Ashok Selvan and Preity Mukhundhan will headline a new action-romance film titled ‘Anbil Avan’, the makers announced on Wednesday with a title-reveal teaser.

Directed by R Kaarthikeyan, the film has its story written by acclaimed writer-director Vignesh Raja — known for Por Thozhil and Kara. The screenplay is credited to Kaarthikeyan, Vignesh and Ashok Selvan.

The teaser offers glimpses of what appears to be a gritty action-romance, though plot details remain under wraps for now.

Preity Mukhundhan, who was last seen in Blast and Idhayam Murali, teams up with Ashok Selvan for the first time in this project. Further details on cast, crew and release date are expected to be announced soon.
