Rukmini Vasanth to make malayalam debut with Nivin Pauly’s 51st film

Bengaluru: Actor Rukmini Vasanth, who won wide acclaim for her performance in Sapta Saagaradaache Ello, is set to make her Malayalam film debut.

The Bengaluru-based actor will star opposite Nivin Pauly in an untitled project to be directed by debutant Nashid Famy.

The film marks Nivin’s 51st movie. The makers officially launched the project with a pooja ceremony on August 9, 2026, Saturday.

The movie is being jointly produced by Martin Prakatt Films and Nivin’s banner, Pauly Jr Pictures.

Rukmini rose to prominence with the bilingual romantic dramas Sapta Saagaradaache Ello – Side A & Side B. Her entry into Malayalam cinema has already generated buzz among fans in both industries.
