New Delhi: Vietnamese conglomerate VinGroup has marked its entry into India’s ride-hailing market with an all-electric taxi service in Delhi-NCR. VinGroup has interests spanning automobiles, real estate, technology, healthcare and education.
Called Green SM Limo, the ride-hailing service was launched on Friday, June 5, 2026. It will use cars from VinGroup’s auto company VinFast.
The service will initially operate across parts of the Delhi-NCR region with a fleet of 1,000 company-owned vehicles. The company plans to gradually expand its coverage and enter other cities in line with customer demand.
Bookings for Green SM Limo can be made through a smartphone app or in operational zones. The launch adds a new EV-only player to Delhi-NCR’s ride-hailing space as the region pushes for cleaner mobility options.
