‘The Voice of Hind Rajab’ cleared by CBFC, set for June 19 India release
Mumbai: The Voice of Hind Rajab, the Oscar-nominated film based on the killing of a five-year-old Palestinian girl by Israeli forces in Gaza, has received a censor certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).
The clearance paves the way for its theatrical release in India on June 19. The movie was initially scheduled to release in March but was held up with the CBFC, the body that certifies theatrical releases in India.
The Voice of Hind Rajab recounts the true story of Hind Rajab, whose death in Gaza drew international attention.
