Ottapalam artist Anakha Nair showcases work at Cannes Contemporary Art Biennale

Ottappalam: An artist from Ottapalam, Kerala, was among 40 selected from around the world to exhibit at the Cannes Contemporary Art Biennale held in France last week.

Anakha Nair, currently based in the United States, presented her work at the event staged alongside the 79th Cannes International Film Festival.

This marks her third consecutive year at the Biennale. The selection places her among a small group of international artists invited to display their work during the festival period.

The Cannes Contemporary Art Biennale runs parallel to the film festival and highlights emerging and established voices in visual arts.

Nair’s participation brings representation for Kerala on the international art stage. Details of the pieces she exhibited were not disclosed by organizers.
