Adani Ports plans $1.36 billion european offshore push with Oceaneering

Mumbai: Adani Ports announced Tuesday a $1.36 billion plan to expand its offshore services in Europe through a partnership with U.S. engineering firm Oceaneering International, with capital spending set through fiscal year 2031.

The move will deepen the company’s European footprint and diversify revenue beyond cargo operations. Adani Ports, India’s largest private port operator, said it is targeting 60 billion rupees ($627.43 million) in marine revenue from the expansion.

Under the plan, its marine services arm Astra Offshore will build a fleet of 200 vessels equipped for specialised offshore work. The joint effort with Oceaneering will deliver subsea inspection, maintenance, and support services for offshore energy infrastructure across European waters.

The company said the investment positions it to tap growing demand for offshore services as Europe scales up energy and wind projects, while strengthening its global marine business.
