Nvidia’s GeForce Now cloud gaming service launches in India on april 16
Nvidia is finally launching its cloud gaming service, GeForce Now, in India on April 16, after a 15-month delay since its initial announcement in January 2025. The service will allow users to stream PC games to their local devices, making it possible to play resource-heavy games on devices with limited storage or hardware capabilities.
GeForce Now will be available in beta, with early access granted to users who signed up on Nvidia India’s GeForce Now microsite. The service will offer three tiers: a free tier, a Performance tier, and an Ultimate tier, with pricing details to be announced soon.
The Ultimate tier will feature Nvidia’s Blackwell-powered RTX 5080 servers, supporting up to 4K at 120fps. Users can access the service on various devices, including Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, and iOS devices, as well as smart TVs and gaming consoles.
Nvidia has partnered with local servers in Mumbai to ensure low-latency gameplay and fast ping times. With a library of over 4,500 games, including popular titles like Fortnite and Resident Evil Requiem, GeForce Now aims to revolutionize gaming in India.
