German chemical major LANXESS partners HINCOL for sustainable road tech in India

In a move aimed at sustainable road infrastructure, German speciality chemicals company LANXESS has partnered with Hindustan Colas Private Ltd (HINCOL) to bring advanced road construction technologies to India.

The two companies on Sunday announced they have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore and evaluate technical and commercial opportunities in bitumen and asphalt modification.

The collaboration will involve joint laboratory and commercial-scale trials and market development initiatives. The companies said the partnership aims to enhance pavement performance and support the country’s growing transportation infrastructure needs with more sustainable solutions.
