90% of Infosys top clients already on AI: Nilekani at AGM

Infosys is well positioned to tap into a $300 to $400 billion AI-first services opportunity by 2030, Chairman Nandan Nilekani told shareholders at the company’s 45th Annual General Meeting on Tuesday, June 23, 2026. He said Infosys was already collaborating with 90% of its top 200 clients on their AI journeys as the industry undergoes a major technology transition.

Nilekani acknowledged the “AI deployment gap” in large enterprise clients, calling it the real work ahead for the IT sector. “AI will not replace companies like ours. It will amplify those who move with purpose and adapt with speed,” he assured thousands of shareholders. He added that more than three years after the launch of GenAI, Infosys remained more relevant than ever and was well-positioned for the decade ahead.

The Chairman’s remarks come as enterprises move from AI experimentation to large-scale deployment. Infosys has been positioning itself as a partner for clients navigating that transition, with AI-led services becoming a key growth driver. The $300-$400 billion opportunity Nilekani cited reflects the scale of enterprise spending expected on AI implementation and transformation services through 2030.
