Tech Mahindra Q1 net profit rises 28% to ₹1,465 crore; Considers restarting campus hiring

Bengaluru: Tech Mahindra Ltd, the IT arm of the Mahindra Group, reported a 28% year-on-year jump in net profit for the first quarter of FY27.

The Pune-based tech firm posted a consolidated net profit of ₹1,465 crore for Q1, compared to ₹1,140.6 crore in the same period last year.

Revenue grew 17.7% YoY to ₹15,712 crore, up from ₹13,351.2 crore in Q1 FY26.According to Mohit Joshi, top executive, every business vertical saw year-on-year growth during the quarter. The company also added seven new clients to its $50 million-plus annual revenue base.

Citing strong demand and growth momentum, the company said it may restart campus hiring in the coming quarters.

Tech Mahindra’s Q1 performance was driven by broad-based growth across verticals, the management added.
