Teaser of Nayanthara’s Mookuthi Amman 2 unveiled on Vinayaka Chaturthi

The makers unveiled the teaser for Tamil superstar Nayanthara’s much-awaited devotional thriller, Mookuthi Amman 2 – Maha Sakthi, on Monday, September 14, on the occasion of Vinayaka Chaturthi.

The film, a sequel to director RJ Balaji’s 2020 hit, is directed by acclaimed filmmaker Sundar C. The teaser hints at a larger-than-life Amman story set in both the past and the present day. It shows how the queen of a kingdom sacrifices herself to save her son, the prince, from invading enemies.

Mookuthi Amman returns to save the child, but that’s not all. The teaser also hints at an all-new evil power: a mysterious woman played by Regena Cassandrra.

The sequel promises a grander scale and a blend of mythology, devotion and thriller elements.
