Priyadarshan’s ‘Haiwaan’ with Akshay, Saif to release on Sept 11

Mumbai: Haiwaan, the upcoming thriller starring Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan, finally has a release date. The makers announced on Saturday (June 27, 2026) that the Priyadarshan directorial will release in theatres on September 11.

Described in a press release as “a taut thriller packed with suspense and high-stakes drama,” the film also stars Shriya Pilgaonkar and Saiyami Kher in pivotal roles.Haiwaan marks the reunion of Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan after 18 years. The duo last shared screen space in Tashan (2008).

Directed by Priyadarshan, known for both comedies and thrillers, the film is expected to blend intense narrative pacing with his trademark storytelling. Further details on plot and trailer launch are awaited.

The September release sets up Haiwaan as one of the key Hindi titles in the post-monsoon box office calendar.
