No guns, only speakers: Ajay Devgn’s ‘Chauhaan’ teaser signals unusual approach

Mumbai: Ajay Devgn will return to action in Chauhaan, the makers announced on Thursday (June 25, 2026), unveiling a first look from the film. It hits theatres on October 1, 2027.

The teaser opens with visuals of stone pelting in Kashmir, set to a voiceover by Devgn. He explains that tear gas, water cannons, and pellet guns proved ineffective against stone pelters. “I vow to change that,” he says.

Later scenes show Devgn entering a procession with a trolley speaker blasting ‘Jumma Chumma De De’ from Amitabh Bachchan’s Hum (1991). He throws away his gun and prepares to engage with a group of stone pelters, wearing a skull-design face mask.
