NLC India stake sale begins at ₹303 floor price; Govt eyes up to ₹1,200 cr
New Delhi: The government’s offer for sale of up to 3% stake in NLC India got off to a smooth start on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, with non-retail investors bidding for 0.44% of shares reserved for them.
Non-retail investors bid for over 1.09 lakh shares at an indicative price of ₹304.92 per share. That represents 0.44% of the 2.49 crore shares reserved for them. Bidding will continue until market close.
The OFS comprises a base offer of 2% equity, or about 2.78 crore shares, with an additional 1% green shoe option of 1.39 crore shares in case of oversubscription. In total, the government is selling about 4.16 crore shares, or up to 3% of NLC India.
