Nagarjuna ropes in Tabu for landmark 100th film ‘#King100’
Actor-producer Nagarjuna Akkineni is set to mark his 100th film with a reunion 28 years in the making.The Telugu film, tentatively titled #King100, will star Tabu opposite Nagarjuna. Produced by Annapurna Studios, it will be directed by Ra Karthik, known for Tamil films Nitham Oru Vaanam and Made in Korea.
The project marks the duo’s first full collaboration since the 1998 comedy Aavida Maa Aavide. Their most celebrated pairing remains director Krishna Vamsi’s 1996 blockbuster Ninne Pelladatha. Tabu also made a guest appearance in Nagarjuna’s Sisindri.
Details on the plot are under wraps, but the casting signals a nostalgic pull for fans of 90s Telugu cinema. For Nagarjuna, #King100 is both a milestone and a homecoming with one of his most iconic co-stars.
