Mumbai pop trio Curry set for Bengaluru debut this weekend

Bengaluru: Mumbai-based pop trio Curry is bringing its mix of songs and singles to Bengaluru this weekend for the band’s debut show in the city. The group, which hails from Mangaluru, has been building a following with its upbeat pop sound and recent releases.

Ashish Palanna, Ria D’Souza and Sumanth Shetty go by their stage names Sheesh, Ryo and Kanasue; together they make up Curry — a South Indian pop band slowly making a name for themselves.

Known for blending catchy hooks with coastal influences, Curry has been cooking up a storm on streaming platforms and live stages. The Bengaluru gig marks the trio’s first performance in the city. Fans can expect a set packed with original songs and new singles as the band expands its reach beyond Mumbai.
