‘Made in Araku Society’ to support tribal farmers; ITDA efforts to boost organic farming

The Integrated Tribal Development Agency (ITDA) is working to ensure fair prices for organic crops grown by tribal farmers in Alluri Sitharama Raju district. ITDA project officer T. Sri Pooja stated this during a meeting at the ITDA project office, which launched the ‘Made in Araku Society’ to support tribal farmers.

The society aims to promote organic farming and provide a platform for tribal farmers to sell their produce at remunerative prices. “The primary goal is to support tribal farmers and help them get fair prices for their crops,” Pooja said.

The ITDA has been promoting organic farming practices among tribal communities, focusing on sustainable agriculture and soil health. The ‘Made in Araku Society’ will help tribal farmers access new markets and improve their livelihoods.
