‘KPop Demon Hunters’ to hit global stages in concert tour after Netflix, Oscar wins
Los Angeles: Netflix is bringing its Oscar-winning animated hit KPop Demon Hunters from screens to arenas, announcing a worldwide concert tour inspired by the film’s music and characters.
The streamer unveiled the project during its Upfront presentation in New York, confirming a partnership with live entertainment giant AEG Presents. Netflix described the show as an immersive stage experience that will recreate elements of the film “in spectacular ways.”
KPop Demon Hunters became a record-breaking success for Netflix following its release, later winning an Academy Award. The film’s soundtrack drove much of its popularity, blending K-pop with the story’s demon-fighting plot.
The company has not yet confirmed whether vocal performers from the film — including EJAE, Audrey Nuna, or Rei Ami — will take part in the concerts. Tour dates, cities, and ticket details are expected to be announced in the coming months.
