Infosys Q2 net jumps 6% to Rs 7,823 crore, declares interim dividend of Rs 26
Infosys on Friday reported a 6.2% growth in its net profit to Rs 7,823 crore in the second quarter of FY27, up from Rs 7,364 crore a year ago, while its revenue grew 10.7% to Rs 49,244 crore, up from Rs 44,490 crore.
The company said during the quarter it won large deals worth $5.2 billion, with 62% of these wins being net new.
The board declared an interim dividend of Rs 26 per equity share, an increase of 13% from last year. The company fixed November 3, 2026 as record date and November 11, 2026 as payout date.
Cautioned by overall market environment, the company trimmed its revenue growth projection for FY27 to 1% to 2%, down from its previous guidance of 1.5% to 3%, although it retained its full-year operating margin guidance at 20% to 22%.
The company indicated that guidance was cut due to various factors including a softer second quarter, subdued volumes, ongoing pricing pressure and higher productivity expectations from clients, in addition to weakness in discretionary spending across retail and high-tech sectors.
CEO Salil Parekh said, “As enterprises move to AI adoption at scale, the strong growth in AI revenues is a recognition of our differentiated market positioning.”CFO Jayesh Sanghrajka said, “Our Q2 has been softer and our volume continues to remain softer. We have also seen pricing pressure on the back of competitive intensity and higher ask on productivity.”
