Illumination drops ‘Not Alone’ trailer starring Timothée Chalamet and Selena Gomez
Los Aangeles: Illumination has released the first trailer for Not Alone, a new animated adventure featuring Timothée Chalamet and Selena Gomez in lead voice roles.
The film marks Chalamet’s first voice role in an animated feature. He stars as Joe, a quiet and introverted rocket mechanic whose solitary life is upended when he joins forces with Fran, a gifted astro-botanist voiced by Gomez.
Together, the pair prepare for the launch of a groundbreaking plant-powered rocket while navigating an awkward budding romance.
The trailer teases a mix of space adventure, science, and humor that has become Illumination’s signature. The studio is known for franchises like Despicable Me, Minions, and The Super Mario Bros.
Not Alone is set for a theatrical debut later this year. A release date was not announced in the trailer.
The project brings together two of Hollywood’s most in-demand young stars. Chalamet was last seen in Dune: Part Two, while Gomez recently earned acclaim for Only Murders in the Building and Emilia Pérez.
