New Delhi: State-owned Gas Authority of India Ltd. (GAIL) reported a sharp jump in earnings for the June quarter, with net profit more than doubling year-on-year. The company posted a net profit of ₹4,292.33 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026.
GAIL said the surge was driven primarily by enhanced profitability in its natural gas marketing segment, which remains the company’s largest revenue contributor.
The results underscore strong demand and improved margins in gas marketing as India continues to expand its natural gas infrastructure.
