Discovery to premiere documentary on Operation Sindoor on Independence Day

New Delhi: Discovery has announced a two-part documentary, Declassified: Operation Sindoor, chronicling India’s military response following the Pahalgam terror attack in April 2025.

The documentary will premiere on Discovery and discovery+ on August 15 from 9 pm to 11 pm.

Declassified: Operation Sindoor traces events from the strategic deliberations after the Pahalgam attack to the launch and execution of the 88-hour military operation on May 7.

It features accounts from representatives of India’s military leadership, ground operatives, defence experts and journalists, offering a behind-the-scenes look at the planning and execution of the operation.

The film aims to provide an inside account of the decisions and actions that shaped the cross-border response.
