Bhopal startup Remote Physios brings clinic-grade rehab to homes
Bhopal: Health-tech startup Remote Physios is delivering clinic-grade physiotherapy at home using AI and IoT devices controlled remotely by therapists.
Founded in 2023 by physiotherapists Dr. Anant Singh Gaur and Dr. Anubha Singhai, the platform was built to solve a common problem: patients dropping out of long-term rehab due to travel costs and time, especially in rural India.
The system includes devices like AxonEase for nerve stimulation and MyoElevate for muscle strengthening. Therapists guide sessions via video call while monitoring progress in real time. Exercises are also turned into AR games to keep patients engaged.
Priced at around Rs 15,000 per device, it aims to be a more affordable option than daily clinic visits that can cost Rs 700–Rs 2,000 per session.
The startup has worked with 250+ patients and received backing through the Himalayan Startup Trek and NIDHI PRAYAS grant.“We want physiotherapy to reach the last person in the community,” said co-founder Anant Gaur.
