Bethesda reveals the elder scrolls VI: Sentinel in new teaser on studio’s 40th anniversary
ROCKVILLE: Bethesda Game Studios has released a new teaser for The Elder Scrolls VI, marking the first fresh promotional footage for the highly anticipated game since its announcement at E3 2018.
Unveiled on November 3 as part of the studio’s 40th anniversary celebrations, the brief teaser confirms the game’s official title as The Elder Scrolls VI: Sentinel.
The reveal was introduced by Bethesda director Todd Howard, who acknowledged the long-running questions surrounding the sequel before describing the anniversary as the right moment to announce its name.
The teaser then shows a scroll emerging from beneath desert sands, with the title Sentinel appearing at the end.
The desert imagery has fuelled speculation among fans that the game will be set in Hammerfell, home to the Redguards, with Sentinel being its capital city — a long-rumoured location since the original 2018 teaser showed a coastal, mountainous landscape.
