Godrej Industries to invest Rs 20,000 crore in Haryana, to create 40,000 jobs
Mumbai: Godrej Industries Group is planning to invest as much as Rs 20,000 crore in Haryana, through which it is expected to create nearly 40,000 jobs.
The planned investment, for which it entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with the State Government, would build on the Group’s existing presence in Haryana, where it has invested approximately Rs 12,000 crore to date.
With the fresh infusion, the Group’s total investments in the state will touch Rs 32,000 crore.
Godrej Properties Ltd (GPL) is expected to be a key driver of the Group’s expansion, with plans to invest Rs 16,000 crore in Haryana by FY28.
