‘Awarapan 2’ trailer out: Emraan Hashmi returns as Shivam in darker, revenge-driven sequel

Mumbai: The trailer for ‘Awarapan 2’ was unveiled on Thursday, August 6, 2026, bringing back Emraan Hashmi as Shivam in a grittier, action-thriller sequel.

Directed by Nitin Kakkar, the 1-minute-25-second trailer sets a darker tone. It opens with Shivam being tortured in front of Shabana Azmi, who appears to play the antagonist. “What a beautiful face. Do you like meeting with death?” her character asks in the clip.

The film also stars Disha Patani, along with Suvinder Vicky, Vijayant Kohli, Atul Kumar, Aniruddh Rawal and Puran Gabbi in pivotal roles.

While the trailer keeps plot details under wraps, it hints at vengeance, conflict and high-stakes drama as Shivam returns.

Produced by Vishesh Films, Awarapan 2 is scheduled for a theatrical release on August 14, 2026.
