ONGC net profit more than doubles in June quarter on higher crude price realisations

New Delhi: State-owned Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) reported a more than two-fold jump in net profit for the quarter ended June 2026, driven by higher crude oil price realisations.

The Delhi-headquartered explorer said its net profit rose 112% year-over-year to ₹17,034 crore. Revenue increased 45.2% on a year-over-year basis during the June-end quarter, the company said.

ONGC attributed the strong earnings to a more-than-50% increase in net crude price realisations compared to the same period last year.

The results come amid volatile global oil prices and stronger domestic production.
