New Delhi: Maruti Suzuki India, the country’s largest automaker, has reported its highest-ever monthly production, rolling out 2,48,845 units in July 2026.
The company saw a 33% year-on-year jump in output. In July 2025, Maruti Suzuki had produced 1,87,073 units, as per a regulatory filing.
The July numbers also beat the company’s previous record of 2,31,933 units set in March 2026. The back-to-back record months signal strong demand and improved supply chain conditions at the automaker’s manufacturing plants.
Industry analysts say the surge comes amid festive season bookings, new model launches, and better availability of semiconductor chips that had earlier constrained production.
Maruti Suzuki operates manufacturing facilities in Gurugram and Manesar in Haryana, and in Gujarat through Suzuki Motor Gujarat. The company accounts for over 40% of India’s passenger vehicle market.
The record production is expected to help the company meet pending orders and strengthen inventory at dealerships ahead of the peak demand season.
