Bengaluru: HCLTech on Friday inaugurated its Global Technology Centre at GIFT City, Ahmedabad, as part of its expansion plans. The new facility will employ 500 engineers in its first phase.
The centre was formally launched by C. Vijayakumar, Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director, HCLTech, in the presence of Gujarat Deputy Chief Minister Shri Harsh Sanghvi.
The GIFT City centre will focus on delivering AI-led solutions to HCLTech’s global clients in the financial services industry. It will also function as a hub for developing next-generation technology solutions and for talent development.
GIFT City has been emerging as a key destination for IT and fintech companies, and HCLTech said the new centre will strengthen its capabilities to serve global banking and financial clients from India.
With this launch, HCLTech expands its footprint in Gujarat and adds to its network of global delivery centers focused on AI and financial services.
