HSBC picks Bengaluru for next major India campus with prestige group

Bengaluru: HSBC has signed a Letter of Intent with Prestige Group to develop ‘Prestige JRC Signature Towers’, a fully integrated campus spanning over 1.2 million sq. ft. on Outer Ring Road in Bengaluru.

The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation, part of the London-based financial services organisation, said the campus will be one of the largest in the country once completed.

The move reflects the bank’s long-term commitment to India, HSBC said in a communiqué.

Outer Ring Road is a key commercial corridor in Bengaluru and houses offices of several global technology and financial firms. The new campus will consolidate HSBC’s operations in the city and is expected to support its growth plans in India.

Details on the investment, construction timeline, and employee capacity were not disclosed. Prestige Group is one of India’s leading real estate developers with a portfolio spanning residential, office, retail, and hospitality projects.

HSBC has been operating in India since 1853 and offers banking and financial services across retail, commercial, and global banking segments.
