‘One Night At bFlat’ A Tribute to Santana at the Humming Tree this weekend

Bengaluru: For Bengalureans who miss the city’s indie music scene, the stars are aligning this weekend. Beloved live music venue bFlat is making a one-night comeback at The Humming Tree with One Night at bFlat: A Tribute To Santana.

The revival brings together Arati Rao and Sunil Shetty of bFlat with Nikhil Barua, founder of The Humming Tree. Both venues were staples of Bengaluru’s live music culture before shutting down within days of each other in October 2019. The Humming Tree reopened earlier this year, setting the stage for this reunion.

The tribute night will channel bFlat’s signature vibe — intimate gigs, eclectic lineups, and a deep love for live music — centered around the music of Santana. For old Bengalureans and music lovers, it’s a rare chance to relive the atmosphere that made bFlat a landmark before it closed its doors.

The show marks one of the first major collaborations since The Humming Tree’s reopening, tapping into nostalgia while bringing live music back to the city’s core circuit.
