‘Cocktail 2’ trailer out: Shahid, Rashmika, Kriti Navigate love triangle in spiritual sequel

Mumbai: The makers unveiled the trailer for Cocktail 2 on Tuesday, introducing Shahid Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna and Kriti Sanon in the upcoming romantic-comedy.

Directed by Homi Adajania and written by Tarun Jain and Luv Ranjan, the film is a spiritual sequel to the 2012 original that starred Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone and Diana Penty.

The trailer sets up the central conflict: Kunal (Shahid), Diya (Rashmika) and Ally (Kriti) are three friends traveling through a picturesque foreign location. Kunal and Diya are shown to be married, and love soon changes the dynamic between the trio.

Glimpses of emotional moments mix with humorous sequences, including one near the end where Diya and Ally shout hysterically at each other.
