All eyes on ‘Athiradi’ as Tovino-Basil starrer gears up for May 14 launch

Kochi: The trailer of Athiradi, the much-anticipated film starring Tovino Thomas and Basil Joseph, was released on Wednesday.

Directed by debutant Arun Anirudhan, the film is produced by Basil Joseph and Dr Ananthu S under the banners of Dr Ananthu Entertainments and Basil Joseph Entertainments. It is set for a worldwide release on May 14.

Athiradi is written by Arun Anirudhan, who earlier wrote Minnal Murali and Padayottam, along with Paulson Skaria, known for Kaathal – The Core and Neymar. Tovino Thomas and Sameer Thahir have co-produced the film.

The trailer launch has heightened buzz around the project, which brings together Tovino and Basil after their previous collaborations.
