Bengaluru’s Ballet Extravaganza: ‘A Tale of Dreams and Destinies’ takes center stage
In a vibrant display of art and culture, the Lewis Foundation of Classical Ballet is set to captivate audiences with its latest production, ‘A Tale of Dreams and Destinies’, at Shoonya on Lalbagh Road in Bengaluru. The foundation’s dancers, led by U.K.-born Yana Lewis, have been rehearsing tirelessly to bring this enchanting tale from One Thousand and One Nights to life.
As the dancers took to the stage, their sculpted frames, graceful lines, and gentle leaps mesmerized onlookers. Lewis, petite yet commanding, orchestrated the 200-odd dancers with precision, her voice cutting through the chatter. “This is our seventh in-house production, and we’re thrilled to share this classic tale with our audience,” she said.
The ballet is a testament to the foundation’s commitment to promoting classical ballet in India. With Lewis at the helm, the dancers have honed their craft, showcasing their talent and dedication. ‘A Tale of Dreams and Destinies’ promises to be an unforgettable experience, weaving together music, dance, and storytelling.
