ISRO ends 8-month dry spell with successful EOS-05 launch
ISRO breathed a sigh of relief on September 4 with the successful predawn launch of its advanced earth observation satellite EOS-05 aboard the GSLV-F17 rocket from Sriharikota.
The mission, which placed the satellite in orbit after a gap of nearly eight months, marked a crucial comeback for the space agency.
However, the achievement was quickly overshadowed by renewed buzz around space privatisation in India.
The September launch is part of a busy period for the country’s space sector, with private players increasingly dominating headlines even as ISRO notches technical milestones.
